Citrus Poached Salmon

3 garlic cloves, crushed

1½ teaspoons fresh ginger, grated finely

1/3 cup fresh orange juice

3 tablespoons coconut aminos

3 (6-ounce) salmon fillets


  1. Ina bowl, mix together all ingredients except salmon.
  2. In the bottom of a large pan, place the salmon fillet.
  3. Place the ginger mixture over the salmon and keep aside for about 15 minutes.
  4. Place the pan over high heat and bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce the heat to low and simmer, covered for about 10-12 minutes or until desired doneness.
